Where to put the QR poster so people actually scan

One join QR where they already wait — counter, window, or table. Stamps never come from that poster. Staff scan the phone. Stampzo’s QR kit is built for that.

A QR nobody can see is a paper card you hid in the back. The Stampzo join poster is only for the first scan of a QR stamp card. After that, the customer shows the card on their phone. Where to put a QR code in a cafe is not a branding question. It is a wait question. Eyes go to the cup, the bill, the window they are about to walk past. That is where the stamp card standee belongs. Not above the menu they never read. Not on the floor. Not next to a second QR for UPI unless you have clearly separated “pay” and “join”.

Put it in the wait

Pickup counter — they are already looking down at the cup.
Window — for people who have not come in yet.
Cafe table tent QR — if they sit before they pay.
Bag sticker — only if you already pack-to-go every order.

The rule staff must not break

Never scan the shop poster to add a stamp. That code does not stamp.

If a regular already has the QR loyalty card, point at their phone, not the wall. Sending them back to the poster is how the line dies and how people think “the QR is broken”. The loyalty QR poster is a door. The phone is the card. Mixing those two jobs is the most common shop-floor mistake.

Do not tape a phone screenshot of the QR under glass. Print the kit. A cafe table tent QR and a window poster can share the same join code — that is still one code, two placements, not two scanners. If UPI and Stampzo both need a QR, put pay on the bill side and the loyalty QR poster on the wait side. People scan the closer square. Make the closer square the one you meant.

At night, check glare. A stamp card standee that worked at 11 a.m. can fail under a downlighter. Tilt it or move it a hand-span. Shop QR rewards are a placement job, not a redesign job. Once a week is enough. If nobody joined by Friday, the QR is in the wrong wait — move the one stand before you print a second. Where to put a QR code in a cafe is almost always “closer to the cup”, not “more codes”.
