The name check
If the name is wrong, you cancel.
Two phones in a couple, two cards in a family, the screen tells you who you are about to stamp. Two seconds. Saves a fight later.
- Read the name out if the shop is noisy.
- Cancel, then scan the other phone.
- Never stamp from the shop poster.

Keep the script short.
You do not need to explain loyalty theory. Four lines cover 95% of visits.
